• Day 1: Bangkok Arrival – Safari World Family Day
Land at Suvarnabhumi Airport. Our family greeter welcomes you with kids' welcome kits. Transfer to your Bangkok family hotel. No rest needed — straight to Safari World for an afternoon of excitement. Drive through the open safari park where giraffes lean into the car window, zebras trot past, ostriches run alongside, white rhinos lumber by, and Asiatic black bears wait hopefully for snacks. The Marine Park shows: dolphins leaping through hoops, sea lions balancing balls, and the legendary orangutan boxing match that has children in stitches. Evening: recover over Thai green curry and mango smoothies at your hotel restaurant.
• Day 2: Khao Yai National Park – Real Wildlife (B/L)
A day in Thailand's finest national park — a UNESCO World Heritage Site of extraordinary biodiversity. Drive 2.5 hours to Khao Yai. Morning guided jungle walk with a ranger-naturalist: track Asian elephant footprints (herds of 50+ inhabit the park), look for gibbons swinging in the canopy, spot great hornbills flying overhead with their distinctive wingbeats, and find python skins and fresh tiger scratch marks on tree trunks. Haew Narok Waterfall — a dramatic 150-metre cascade where families swim in the pool below. Picnic lunch in the forest. Afternoon: game drive along Khao Yai's roads where wild Asian elephants frequently cross at dusk. Return to Bangkok by late evening.
• Day 3: Bangkok to Phuket – Beach Arrival (B)
Morning flight from Bangkok to Phuket (1.5 hours). Transfer to your family resort at Karon Beach — Phuket's second-longest beach and far calmer than the famous Patong. The resort has a lagoon-style family pool, kids' splash zone, beach access, and babysitting service. After the Bangkok wildlife days, the contrast with the turquoise Andaman Sea is dramatic and beautiful. Afternoon at leisure on Karon Beach: warm clear water, gentle waves, and a long stretch of golden sand perfect for children to run free. Evening: beachfront seafood dinner as the sun sinks into the Andaman.
• Day 4: Phuket Elephant Sanctuary – Full Day (B)
The most meaningful day of the holiday. An ethical sanctuary for rescued Thai elephants — no riding, no shows, no hooks. Just elephants living freely in a forested valley, and your family spending a full day alongside them. The sanctuary vet introduces each elephant by name and backstory. Children are immediately emotionally invested in these individual animals. Feed the herd with enormous fruit baskets — elephants curl their trunks around the food with extraordinary delicacy. Walk through the forest with the herd, observing natural behaviour. Watch the elephants wading and splashing in their river pool with visible joy and playfulness. The sanctuary's conservation education session teaches children why Asian elephants are endangered and what can be done. Lunch at the organic hilltop café. Children receive a conservation ambassador certificate and a painting made by one of the sanctuary's painting elephants.
• Day 5: Phi Phi Islands Family Speedboat (B/L)
The iconic Phi Phi Islands by speedboat — one of the greatest family day trips in Thailand. Bouncing over Andaman waves to reach Maya Bay's towering limestone cliffs. Snorkeling in clear water teeming with clownfish, parrotfish, and angelfish (bring an underwater camera!). Monkey Beach: wild macaques approach right to the water's edge — guides ensure safe, respectful interaction. Viking Cave with ancient paintings visible from the boat. A beautiful Thai island lunch. Return to Phuket by sunset, with children's faces glowing from a day in paradise.
• Day 6: Tiger Kingdom & Phuket Aquarium (B)
Two uniquely Phuket family experiences. Morning at Tiger Kingdom — tigers from cubs (5 months) to adults in supervised open enclosures. With strict safety protocols and professional handlers present, families can photograph and interact with these magnificent animals at close range. Afternoon at Phuket Aquarium on Cape Panwa — the 100-metre walk-through acrylic tunnel beneath thousands of tropical fish, leopard sharks, and gliding sting rays is genuinely breathtaking. Interactive touch pools allow children to handle starfish and small rays. Evening: Phuket Town Night Market with local delicacies, fresh juices, and unique Phuket-style souvenirs.
• Day 7: Khao Sok National Park Day Tour (B/L)
Drive 2 hours north to Khao Sok National Park — ancient jungle older than the Amazon rainforest, with limestone towers rising from a vast emerald reservoir. Board a longtail boat across the stunning Cheow Lan reservoir — surrounded on all sides by 960-metre karst cliffs draped in jungle. Visit floating raft houses on the lake (traditional accommodation built on bamboo and wood directly on the water surface). Guided jungle walk along the reservoir edge: hornbills, kingfishers, langur monkeys, and possibly wild elephants on the forest margin. Swimming in the warm reservoir surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Thai lunch included. Return to Phuket by evening.
• Day 8: Andamanda Phuket Water Park (B)
The ultimate family fun day. Andamanda Phuket Water Park is one of Southeast Asia's finest water parks, themed around the legendary Andaman Sea. Highlights: the 6-person family raft ride, the Master Blaster uphill water coaster, the Aqua Loop free-fall slide (for the brave ones!), the 300-metre lazy river perfect for toddlers, a dedicated Nemo's Cove splash zone for young children, and the giant wave pool. Parents can sunbathe on loungers while children spend the day on the slides — it is practically impossible to tear children away. Evening: final family beach dinner on Karon Beach with farewell fireworks.
• Day 9: Phuket Airport – Family Departure (B)
Final Thai breakfast at your Karon Beach resort. Collect the elephant certificates, underwater camera photos, safari wildlife journals, and handmade Phuket souvenirs. Transfer to Phuket International Airport. Nine extraordinary days: Bangkok's safari parks and real jungle wildlife, Phuket's ethical elephant sanctuary, Phi Phi's legendary beaches, tiger encounters, ancient jungle, and world-class water parks. Thailand has delivered the ultimate family adventure holiday — and your children are already asking when you're coming back.
